APAC Central Inc. in Oklahoma seeks an experienced Aggregate Plant Operator to run the crushing operation safely and efficiently. You will operate plant and mobile equipment, monitor production and quality, and support maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

Operate the aggregate crushing plant safely, consistently, and efficiently.

Follow all federal, state, MSHA, and company safety policies, rules, and procedures.

Monitor plant throughput, output, and equipment performance to maximize production and minimize downtime.

Complete daily plant, equipment, and site inspections; identify and report safety, maintenance, or compliance concerns.

Monitor material quality, document changes in product or plant performance, and promptly communicate quality concerns to Quality Control.

Complete required safety, production, inspection, and maintenance documentation accurately and on time.

Operate mobile equipment, including skid steers and water trucks.

Perform pre‑shift inspections, preventive maintenance, equipment cleaning, troubleshooting, and minor repairs.

Support plant maintenance activities, including screen changes, conveyor belt repair and adjustment, crusher line changes, cutting, grinding, and welding.

Maintain excellent housekeeping throughout the plant, control room, equipment areas, and quarry site.

Share knowledge and provide training or support to co‑workers as needed.

Perform other duties as assigned to support safe and efficient operations.

What You Bring

At least 2 years of experience in aggregate crushing operations.

High school diploma or GED.

Valid driver’s license.

Strong mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, and hand‑eye coordination.

Proven attention to detail with effective time‑management, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.

Clear, respectful, and dependable communication skills.

MSHA training completed before beginning work duties.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

Frequently bend, kneel, crawl, climb, twist, push, pull, stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions.

Work for extended periods in the same position and, when required, in confined spaces.

Work outdoors in changing weather and temperature conditions.

Work safely at heights, including on ladders and elevated surfaces.

Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
