Job summary

Schreiber Foods, Inc. seeks an experienced Operations Systems/Controls professional to develop, implement, and support SCADA, MES, and data management solutions on the plant floor.

Responsibilities include programming, graphics, reports, and database integration to boost safety, efficiency, and asset performance. Candidate has 5+ years in industrial controls, Ignition Platform experience, PLC knowledge, and strong analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field.
• 5+ years experience in Industrial Control Systems or Manufacturing environment if no bachelor’s degree.
• 3+ years experience in Operations Systems/Industrial Control Systems in manufacturing.
• Experience with SCADA, HMI, MES, Historian, reporting and dashboards.
• Experience with Ignition SCADA Platform and Perspective UI preferred.
• Knowledge of PLC concepts, databases, programming (Python) and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Develop, build, and install SCADA, MES, and information management solutions.
• Design solutions to improve safety, efficiency, control, and performance of assets.
• Provide 24/7 issue support and proactive maintenance of operations systems.
• Manage projects and plan system implementations with risk consideration.
• Create system documentation and user training materials for changes.
• Implement PLC solutions and configure communications as needed.
• Ensure compliance with Food Safety and Quality Plans and customer requirements.
