Job summary

Prysmian in Manchester, NH is seeking a Production & Operations Leader to align manufacturing output with equipment reliability, lead cross-functional teams, and drive safety, quality and cost improvements in a high-volume facility.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering/Manufacturing, 7–10+ years in industrial manufacturing, and 3–5+ years of leadership experience; experience with lean, ERP/CMMS preferred; you will coach teams and coordinate with Engineering, Quality, and Supply

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or related field.
7–10+ years of experience in manufacturing and/or maintenance in an industrial setting.
3–5+ years of leadership experience managing teams.
Strong understanding of production operations and equipment reliability.
Proven ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and process improvements.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies (preferred).
Familiarity with ERP systems and CMMS platforms (preferred).
Experience in cable, wire, or similar industrial manufacturing environments (preferred).

Responsibilities

Lead production teams to ensure efficient execution of manufacturing schedules.
Optimize labor, materials, and equipment utilization to meet production targets.
Analyze production data and drive performance improvements.
Coach and develop team members to foster a high-performance culture.
Oversee maintenance activities to ensure equipment uptime and reliability.
Develop and execute preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
Direct equipment installation, commissioning, and modifications.
Maintain records of equipment performance and lifecycle.
Align maintenance schedules with production priorities to minimize disruption.
Partner with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to resolve issues and improve processes.
Ensure strong coordination between production scheduling and maintenance execution.
Lead lean manufacturing and continuous improvements to reduce downtime and costs.
Promote safety, quality, and environmental standards and policies.
