Job summary

Lehigh Hanson Inc. is offering an internship in the field operations area to support production and continuous improvement efforts. You will work with operations, sales, quality control, maintenance and logistics to gain a broad understanding of the stabilized sand business.

Current juniors and seniors pursuing construction management, business, or engineering degrees are invited to apply. A strong work ethic, adaptability, and excellent communication are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Current juniors and seniors working toward a degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Demonstrated openness to change and adaptability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to motivate teams and manage several projects concurrently.

Responsibilities

• Support plant operations to achieve production goals while coordinating with managers, engineers, sales, quality control and production staff.
• Assist with collecting and analyzing operational data to support continuous improvement.
• Complete technical and operational projects to understand plant processes.
• Learn the mission of production, maintenance, quality, sales and administration.
• Gain broad understanding by spending time with Operations, Sales, Quality Control, Maintenance, Logistics and Administration.
