Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain equipment for blending and loading dry and liquid fertilizer.
  • Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment; perform light maintenance and repairs.
  • Follow label instructions and mixing orders for crop protection products and seed treatment.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support continuous improvement in operations.
  • Follow safety policies, OSHA, DOT, and fleet safety regulations.

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Loader to join our Plant Operations team. The Loader will be responsible for operatingand maintaining all equipment associated with the blending, mixing, and loading of dry bulk fertilizer, liquid fertilizer, bulk and packaged chemical,bulkand bagged seed .

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Executing processes and operating machinery and equipment as required, including dry fertilizer bulk handling equipment such as bobcats, forklift, and payloader.
  • Inspecting buildings, grounds, and equipmentutilizedby the facility to troubleshoot, perform light maintenance, and complete repairwork.
  • Following label instructions and proper mixing orders when loading crop protection products, blending fertilizer, or when treating or inoculating seed.
  • Interacting regularly with customers, peers, and management to provide exceptional customer service, pursue continuous improvement of facility operations, and promote a teamwork focused environment.
  • Adheres to all safety regulations, requirements, policies and procedures, including OSHA regulations, the vehicle policy and fleet safety program, and DOT regulations.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Diploma/GED or 0-1 Year Related Experience or combination of education and experience
  • Valid driver’s license with the ability to obtain a CDL.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending,lifting upto 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonableaccommodation.
  • Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including a respirator.
  • Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
  • Ability to work in confined spaces.
  • Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts.
