Job summary

Lignetics, Inc. seeks an experienced Plant Operations Manager to lead safety, production, and maintenance across the facility.

You will set production schedules, coordinate departments, and drive cost-efficient, sustainable improvements in a wood product manufacturing environment. The role requires a bachelor’s in Manufacturing/Industrial Management, 10+ years in manufacturing with 5+ in leadership, and a Lean/Six Sigma background.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing/Industrial Management or related field preferred.
  • 10+ years manufacturing experience with 5+ years in leadership.
  • Lean/Six Sigma experience a plus.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in varied weather and oversee cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, direct and coordinate operations across safety, production and maintenance.
  • Lead safety initiatives to improve culture and performance.
  • Develop production schedules and communicate goals to departments.
  • Analyze equipment efficiency and materials supply; coordinate manpower.
  • Manage department expenses, budgets and purchasing within guidelines.
  • Drive process improvements and manage inventory accuracy at plant level.
  • Supervise managers, shift leads and production staff; oversee training.
