Job summary

Contemporary Staffing Solutions in Miami, FL is seeking a Plant Operations Lead to oversee production teams in a fast-paced food and beverage environment. This onsite, direct-hire role focuses on achieving KPIs, optimizing productivity, and maintaining GMP compliance.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in food manufacturing. Salary is $21 per hour, with Mon-Fri shifts, first or second, and occasional Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Post-secondary education preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in the food industry.

Responsibilities

• Track hourly productivity, shift staffing, and quality metrics to meet KPIs such as labor cost, overtime, and yield
• Take ownership of operational targets and coach team members to focus on achieving KPIs
• Review production schedules and plan for appropriate packaging materials and staffing needs
• Direct and assign employees as needed, enforce discipline, track attendance, and ensure compliance with GMP
• Facilitate root-cause problem solving to meet Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost goals within assigned work areas
• Monitor employee performance and provide feedback and recommendations for improvement
• Coach and mentor team members, including facilitating cross-training and team-driven performance initiatives
• Maintain floor organization and serve as the point-of-contact in the absence of a Supervisor or Manager
• Troubleshoot quality and equipment issues and address operational challenges
• Perform all duties ethically and responsibly
• Other duties as assigned

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Plant Operations Lead to a vital role in supporting our clients' manufacturing operations. This onsite, permanent/direct-hire position based in Miami, FL focuses on leading production teams to meet daily operational goals in a fast-paced food and beverage manufacturing environment.

Compensation:

• $21/hour

Work Schedule:

• Monday-Friday; 8-10 hour shifts.
• First or second shift.
• Saturdays if needed.
