Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms is offering a 11-week Summer Internship Program in Alabama. The internship runs May 17 to July 30, 2027 and provides hands-on experience, professional development, and exposure to industry leaders.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an associate, bachelor’s or graduate degree program in Poultry Science, Animal Science, Agribusiness Management, Agricultural Economics, Food Science, Agriculture or Business-related major.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Resume required.

Candidate Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in an associate, bachelor's or graduate degree program majoring in Poultry Science, Animal Science, Agribusiness Management, Agricultural Economics, Food Science, Agriculture or Business- related major.
• All academic majors encouraged to apply.

• Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail.
• Willingness to build relationships with mentors, peers, and professionals to expand industry knowledge and interpersonal skills.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
