Martin Marietta is seeking a motivated individual to join our team at the Kentucky Ave Mine. The role focuses on operating equipment, assisting with production and maintenance, and supporting plant operations.

Candidates should be prepared to work long hours, cross-train across plant areas, and participate in daily equipment inspections. Required qualifications include a high school diploma, 1+ year of related experience, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year related experience in heavy equipment or maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Welding or maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in plant operations including production, quality control, loading, and shipping.
• Shovel work, sweeping, lifting, cleaning, and acting as a spotter.
• Uses a variety of tools and clean-up equipment to support production operations such as removal of material on and from beneath the plant.
• Assists Plant Operators, and Equipment Operators, with general duties as requested.
• Must be willing to cross-train in all plant areas.
• Learn to operate plant-specific mobile equipment.
• Perform daily pre/post-shift inspections on equipment and maintain maintenance log.
• Maintain good housekeeping in areas of responsibility.

Essential Functions

• Assist in plant operations including production, quality control, loading, and shipping

Physical Demands
