Located in Central Indiana, this is a newly created role in newly expanded operation. Job Functions
  • Plant Manager – will provide operations leadership manage People, Manufacturing Operations, Quality & Maintenance in a non-union Automotive facility. Focus on improving operations throughput.
  • Work with all functional areas within the facility to assure that production, safety, quality, maintenance, engineering, purchasing, production control and every other aspect of the business are meeting and exceeding goals and expectations.
  • Work with customers on resolving operational and quality problems.
  • Establish performance metrics for the facility and people.
  • Develop, coordinate, and implement budgets and oversee various projects across the entire operation.
Candidate Requirements
  • 10-20 years experience as Operations Manager or Plant Manager – Strong preference for background in Automotive Tier 1 or Truck Manufacturing Operations.
  • Must have managed teams in Manufacturing Operations – which include operations, quality, maintenance etc. Strong ability to relate to Manufacturing Engineering teams as new, highly automated equipment comes into the plant.
  • Knowledge of Automotive Quality Systems – Knowledge of quality and launch processes such as APQP, 8D, etc. and knowledge of TPS – Toyota Production TPS systems is a plus.
  • Solid Communicator and Problem Solver along with Leadership skills.
  • Experience in management in a non-union environment is a plus.
  • Bachelors Degree is preferred but is not required.
