Job summary

Airgas is seeking a Plant Manager to oversee a filling industrial plant in Tampa, FL. The role focuses on ensuring safety compliance, leading a team of supervisors, and driving continuous improvement in production methods and equipment performance.

Responsibilities include reporting injuries, maintaining a safe, organized facility, and coaching staff to meet Airgas' high standards. Prior leadership in industrial gas settings is preferred. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of five years of related experience in an industrial setting.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with the team and communicate safety and operational instructions.
• Proficiency in computer usage for data entry, extraction, and tracking plant performance.
• Ability to work effectively under deadlines, manage a high volume of paperwork accurately, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
