Job summary

Pen Manufacturing in Anaheim, CA seeks a Plant Manager to lead daily operations of our metal fabrication facility. You will drive safety, production, quality, scheduling, and inventory accuracy on a fast-paced shop floor.

You’ll coach supervisors, walk the floor, remove bottlenecks, and ensure on-time delivery while building a culture of accountability. Fluent English and Spanish preferred; ERP/MRP and Lean experience required. Compensation: base $150k-$300k depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Preference for experience in metal fabrication, sheet metal, machining, welding, aerospace and defense industries.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and Lean manufacturing is essential.
• Ability to manage a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment.
• Strong focus on daily execution, through floor leadership and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Own daily operation of the Anaheim facility including safety, production, quality, scheduling, and inventory accuracy.
• Know what is happening on every major job each day and drive throughput.
• Coach supervisors, remove bottlenecks, and improve labor utilization to hit today’s plan.

What You'll Own

You will own the daily operation of our Anaheim manufacturing facility.

That includes:

• Safety
• Production
• Quality
• Scheduling
• Inventory accuracy

You are expected to know what's happening on every major job every day.

Success Looks Like

Within your first year you will:

• Increase labor productivity.
• Improve gross margins through better execution.
• Build a culture of accountability throughout the shop.
• Improve ERP accuracy and production visibility.
• Develop supervisors who own results instead of reporting excuses.
• Reduce overtime while improving throughput.
• Eliminate waste, bottlenecks, and unnecessary labor.
• Create a manufacturing operation customers trust.
