Job summary

Gates Corporation seeks an innovation-minded leader to drive plant performance and oversee critical manufacturing operations. You will coordinate finance, IT, HSE, HR, and quality teams to ensure safe, productive output and sustained growth.

Fluency in English and 15–20 years in similar roles are required; Six Sigma and Lean basics are highly valued. Strong leadership and strategic thinking will shape the plant's success.

Qualifications

  • Certificate of professional studies
  • 15-20 YOE in similar position
  • Desirable: Six Sigma, Six Sigma Champion, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5's
  • Business administration, decision making, financial knowledge, Leadership.
  • Knowledge: IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the organization, facilities, machinery, equipment, and intellectual capital at its maximum levels of customer focus, so that Gates is the first option with which to do business.
  • Channel the resources and efforts of the organization, towards opportunities that allow it to achieve significant economic results, fulfilling customer expectations; making the company profitable and socially committed.
  • Apply resources for the increase of dividends; supervise Internal Control and SOX procedures; ensure compliance.
  • Manage the entire organizational process (Finance, IT, iMES, HSE, HR, CI, Materials, Maintenance, Engineering, Banking Operations, Operations Prepared Materials, Quality & Technical Services).
  • Ensure correct administration of financial, material, and human resources, maintain quality, minimize stoppages and generate new business opportunities; guarantee Safety, Quality, Productivity, Delivery and Cost.
  • Obtain information about the competition and other Gates plants to develop strategies and plans for sustainable growth.
  • Verify and increase intellectual capital through training; set goals with area heads; lead manufacturing operations with teamwork and benchmarking.

Position Summary

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Maintain the organization, facilities, machinery, equipment, and intellectual capital at its maximum levels of customer focus, so that Gates is the first option with which to do business.
  • Channel the resources and efforts of the organization, towards those opportunities that allow it to achieve significant economic results, fulfilling customer expectations; making the company a profitable and profit generating company as well as socially committed. Create and maintain an intelligent, dynamic, creative, and profitable company; achieve competitive advantages that are reflected in the increase in profits necessary to achieve sustained growth and continuous improvement.
  • Apply in a profitable way the physical and financial resources for the increase of dividends. Supervise the Internal Control and SOX procedures applied by the area of finance and ensure compliance.
  • Manage the entire organizational process (Finance, IT, iMES, HSE, Human Resources, Continuous Improvement, Materials, Maintenance, Engineering, Banking Operations, Operations Prepared Materials, Quality and Technical Services
  • Ensure the correct administration of financial, material, and human resources, as well as the quality required in the product by customers, minimizing production stoppages and generating new business opportunities. Guarantee the Safety, Quality, Productivity, Delivery and Cost of the work teams, the legal requirements of the company and the quality and environmental management systems.
  • Obtain information about the competition and / or other Gates bands manufacturing plants about new technological forms for manufacturing or improve the production of bands, which help to develop strategies and action plans to allow the planned and sustainable growth of the company.
  • Verify and increase your intellectual capital through training and staff development, establish and agree on the goals and objectives of work with the heads of each area. To be a leader in the manufacturing operation, focused on achieving a dynamic, profitable, competent company, which includes teamwork, team building, benchmarking, and success. Establish and verify compliance with the vision of the locality.
