Empirical Foods, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance employee to assist with all maintenance functions within the plant, performing regular and preventative maintenance on machinery.

The role includes helping with installation, maintenance, and testing of Research and Development equipment tied to production and continuous improvement projects. The position requires basic electrical knowledge, a solid mechanical aptitude, and the ability to operate or learn material handling and refrigeration systems.

Formación

• Minimum 1 year of plant maintenance experience preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent, or verifiable ability to perform essential job functions.

Responsabilidades

• Process work orders and perform daily preventative maintenance tasks according to procedures and schedules.
• Repair, service, adjust, and test equipment (air systems, refrigeration units, hydraulic tanks, compressors, and condensers).
• Assemble and disassemble equipment effectively while maintaining safety standards.
• Utilize hand and power tools effectively while maintaining safety standards.
• May operate forklifts, hoists, and other heavy equipment.
• Immediately report or repair any problem noted during shift and communicate with maintenance management for direction.
