Job summary

CS Beef Packers in Kuna, Idaho is seeking a plant maintenance worker to oversee maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment, utilities, and environmental systems. The role aims to minimize downtime and ensure all mechanical and electronic systems operate safely.

You will operate heavy machinery, perform daily setups, follow task instructions, and contribute to safety, food safety, and housekeeping. A pre-employment drug test is required, and shifts are 10–12 hours.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to perform basic math such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Knowledge of basic tools and maintenance related subjects.
• Willingness to participate on various teams such as HAZMAT.
• Ability to lift up to 80lbs.
• Must be able to work 10–12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• May operate heavy machinery and use tools to repair and maintain equipment.
• Conduct daily area setup and troubleshoot assigned tasks.
• Follow task instructions around machinery and power sources.
• Ensure safety, food safety and quality, and maintain cleanliness.
