Job summary

Alta Dena Dairy, a DFA-owned plant, is seeking skilled maintenance mechanics to care for production assets and utilities. The role covers electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, with planned and unplanned work to keep equipment running smoothly.

Compensation ranges from $39.12 to $43.07 per hour on the 3rd shift (9:00 PM – 5:30 AM, Sunday/Monday off). Benefits include pension, 401(k), healthcare, vacation, tuition reimbursement and more.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing facility
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks
• Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair production, packaging, and processing equipment and utility systems
• Ensure continued operation of machinery across electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Perform planned and unplanned maintenance to minimize downtime
