Job summary

Knife River seeks a Plant Maintenance Technician to support our Bismarck, ND facility. You’ll inspect, troubleshoot, and repair conveyors, crushers, mixers and motors to keep production running safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, basic welding and fabrication, lubrication, and equipment adjustments. You’ll work with a safety‑focused, team‑oriented crew while gaining training and advancement opportunities in a stable, growth‑oriented construction environment.

Qualifications

• Experience performing preventative maintenance on industrial plant equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills for conveyors, crushers, mixers and motors.
• Basic welding and fabrication ability is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair plant equipment to keep production running safely.
• Perform preventative maintenance and basic welding/fabrication tasks.
• Handle lubrication and equipment adjustments as part of daily maintenance.
