Job summary

A leading construction materials producer based in Boise, Idaho, is seeking an experienced Loader Operator/Concrete Plant Maintenance person to ensure safety and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience, a Class B Commercial Driver’s License, and mechanical and electrical skills. Responsibilities include equipment inspections, safety checks, and performing manual labor. This role requires adaptability to extreme weather conditions and variable hours.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Must have a current Commercial Driver’s License (Class B Minimum).
  • Millwright experience preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 7 days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily inspections of equipment.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure safety.
  • Complete required reports.
  • Manual labor including shoveling excess materials.

Knife River Idaho Division is looking for an experienced Loader Operator/Concrete Plant Maintenance person to join our team. Our company takes pride in our quality of work and the expertise of our employees.

Responsibilities
  • Perform daily inspections of equipment
  • Perform site inspections to ensure safety
  • Efficient at multi-tasking and working under short time constraints
  • Complete required reports
  • Communicate effectively to co-workers, management, suppliers and others you come in contact with
  • Manual labor including shoveling excess material away from plant
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Training Available

Working in extreme weather conditions should be expected.

Qualifications
  • Proven work history reflecting a minimum of 5 years of experience
  • Must have mechanical, electrical, fabrication and operating experience around concrete plants
  • Must have a current Commercial Driver’s license (Class B Minimum)
  • Millwright experience preferred
  • Experience with Conveyors preferred
  • Must be able to meet company’s attendance policy
  • Must be able to travel up to 7 days per week and for extended periods of time
  • Willing to work varied and extended hours
