Be the Expert Everyone Calls FirstAre you the go-to problem solver when a press trips, a conveyor stalls, or a robot faults? Do you thrive where precision mechanics meets industrial electricity and PLC logic? Join us to keep a high-activity manufacturing operation running at peak performance. Why This RoleAdvance on a clear pathway from Maintenance Technician to Master Maintenance Technician with hands-on assessments and a Ramsey score > 80th percentile.Own impactful work on upsetters, shears, blasters, cranes, conveyors, extrusion presses, and robotic cells.Work with PLCs (RSLogix/Allen-Bradley), VFDs, and high-voltage systems (480v, 4160v) while honing your millwright craft.Your ImpactDismantle, install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electro-mechanical controls and devices across plant equipment.Install and troubleshoot motors, drives, starters, and I/O circuits; execute building and utility maintenance (electrical devices, compressed air, natural gas).Complete PMs; record and maintain accurate logs; follow safe operating procedures and LOTO/arc-flash practices.Read and apply blueprints/schematics; assemble machines and secure to foundations via bolting, welding, and riveting.Program/select robot routines; measure, cut, and bend wire/conduit; drill pass-throughs; pull wiring; track shorts.Assist with rigging and positioning motors, conduit, and wiring; perform minor electrical repairs (fuses, sockets, bulbs, switches).Disassemble/replace worn components; perform basic non-load-bearing welding and torch cutting; keep areas, machines, and tools clean.Must-Haves4+ years in manufacturing as an Electrical Maintenance tech or Millwright; strong mechanical aptitude.Clear, detailed communicator; able to work solo or on a team with supervision as needed.Math skills: proportions, percentages, area, circumference, volume; basic algebra/geometry.Comfort with basic tech (self-service portals, time clocks) and interpreting technical instructions/diagrams; able to navigate abstract and concrete variables.Preferred EdgeElec-Test and Multi-Craft test completion; willing to work all shifts to gain full maintenance exposure.RSLogix/Allen-Bradley PLCs; ability to troubleshoot/repair with test instruments, schematics, and ladder logic.ABB/Motoman/Fanuc robotics familiarity.Proficient with 480v and 4160v systems, VFDs, panel building, and schematic reading.Deep knowledge of lockout/tagout and arc-flash; apply National Electrical Code; bend conduit independently.Safe use of electrical test equipment; read electrical/mechanical drawings; weld and torch-cut safely.Fluent with dials/gauges; accurate with level and square.EducationHigh school diploma or GED preferred.Associate’s in Industrial Maintenance or accredited Millwright certificate/training preferred.Physical & Environmental RealitiesFrequent standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, reaching; climbing ladders/stairs to 30 ft+.Move materials using carts, dollies, cranes, and jacks; navigate narrow walkways, confined spaces, overhead mezzanines.Operate amid temperature fluctuations, high noise, and vibration; wear required PPE (hard hat, eye protection, ear plugs, metatarsal/steel-toe footwear).Work around historic machinery, conveyance systems, and active traffic areas with occasional standing water.Career Progression: Tech to MasterHands-on in-field testing (e.g., hydraulic pump rebuild, equipment electrical troubleshooting, welding proficiency) is required. Achieving a Ramsey Maintenance Test score above the 80th national percentile qualifies you to move into the Master Maintenance Technician tier.Compensation & BenefitsHourly: Maintenance Technician — $35.70/hr; Master Maintenance Technician — $40.80/hrFull-time role with Benefits Day 1 (Medical, Dental, Vision, STD, AD & D Life insurance) — bolded benefits are company paid.401(k) company matchPTO available immediately upon hireTwo (2) weeks paid vacation after 1 yearLeadershipNo supervisory responsibilities.Equal Employment OpportunityQualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to their race, color, religion, national origin, sex, protected veteran status or disability.
