Job summary

Alexandria Industries is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead a high-performing team responsible for all maintenance activities across our plant. You will drive preventive and predictive programs, mentor staff, and manage budgets while ensuring safety, reliability, and equipment uptime.

The role requires strong mechanical, electrical and automation expertise, plus proven leadership and budgeting skills to align maintenance work with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial, electrical, mechanical, or manufacturing engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of maintenance management experience in industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency with CMMS, MS Office and maintenance planning tools.
• Strong background in mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.
• Excellent communication, problem solving and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote and enforce safety-first culture and OSHA/EPA compliance.
• Develop multi-year maintenance strategies to improve uptime and reduce costs.
• Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and development for maintenance staff.
• Collaborate with the COO on budgets and expense management.
• Oversee CMMS data integrity and KPI reporting (uptime, downtime, PM completion).
• Manage vendor and contractor relationships for safe, cost-effective service.
• Lead transition from reactive to proactive maintenance practices.
• Oversee spare parts and consumables inventory.
• Support performance reviews and growth planning for the team.
• Identify and implement cost reduction and process improvements.
• Oversee facility utilities, systems, and grounds maintenance.
