Job summary

Trinseo LLC seeks a Site Logistics Technician for our Dalton, GA latex plant. You will lead safe, reliable operations, manage materials, and perform lab analyses in a fast-paced environment.

Expect to work with ERP systems like SAP/Oracle and to engage in maintenance and process improvement tasks. You should have a High School Diploma or GED, strong computer and interpersonal skills, and the ability to operate forklift equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong Microsoft skills preferred (Excel/Word).
• Must possess strong interpersonal skills and work in a team environment.
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Ability to drive a forklift (training provided).
• At least 2 years of operating or maintenance experience in a production facility preferred.
• Experience with SAP or Oracle ERP systems preferred.
• Quality management system knowledge (LIMS preferred).
• Familiar with process control systems (ABB, Honeywell, DeltaV).
• Basic mechanical skills to troubleshoot pumps and instrumentation.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds; climb stairs and ladders; rotate shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate process equipment safely and responsibly.
• Load product from tanks to trucks or railcars.
• Package product in drums, totes, and samples.
• Unload raw materials from rail/truck to storage tanks.
• Unload packaged materials into warehouse storage.
• Load waste for disposal/recovery.
• Perform laboratory tests to verify quality.
• Interact with computer systems to operate plant and analyze labs.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment.
• Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements.
