Arcosa Crushed Concrete is seeking a Lead Person to support plant operations in Mesquite, TX. You will assist the Plant Manager, ensure a safe environment per OSHA, and drive production schedules to meet budgeted targets.

The role requires coordinating daily tasks, mentoring operators, maintaining housekeeping, and monitoring safety and equipment with regular maintenance and downtime reporting. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Coordinate daily production and maintenance tasks.
Monitor safety, housekeeping, and equipment conditions.

Responsibilities

Assist the Plant Manager and maintain a safe work environment per OSHA standards
Follow environmental policies and procedures at all times
Safely and efficiently operate equipment
Establish effective production and maintenance schedules
Produce at acceptable levels per budget
Coordinate and monitor daily tasks of employees
Ensure employees inspect equipment daily for safety and maintenance defects
Schedule and coordinate routine maintenance on plant and mobile equipment
Ensure pre-processed material is available for production
Track inventory of critical spare parts
Train and mentor operators to improve efficiency
Maintain housekeeping and organization
Ensure safe traffic patterns between plant equipment and customers
Monitor overall production efficiency and report inadequacies to manager
