Job summary

Buzzi Unicem USA is hiring an entry-level Laborer to support plant operations across our facilities. You will perform housekeeping, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and assist with various tasks to help keep the plant running efficiently.

The role offers learning opportunities, a chance to develop in different areas, and a path toward career growth within our cement manufacturing operations. Candidates must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and work outdoors in all weather.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to work extended hours, holidays, and/or overtime.
• Speak, read, write and understand English.
• Ability to work independently without constant supervision.
• Able to work inside and outside in year-round weather.
• In good physical condition; lift up to 75 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping in the plant.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment throughout the plant.
• Safely operate and maintain various mobile equipment (Skid loader, Forklift, Vacuum Truck, etc.).
• Perform safety checks on each piece of equipment used and document actions.
• Serve as a role model in leadership, teamwork, customer focus, continuous improvement, safety and environmental stewardship.
