Job summary

Desert Ready Mix LLC is seeking a dependable Plant Laborer to assist skilled tradespeople and the supervisor, keeping the plant and equipment in good working order.

Responsibilities include following safety rules, wearing required PPE, coordinating with the team to complete projects, and handling routine paperwork while maintaining a strong work ethic and a readiness to work up to six days a week as needed. Plant Laborer position is responsible for assisting skilled tradesman and/or assigned supervisor as needed, maintaining plant and plant equipment, and miscellaneous tasks as they arise. Job Responsibilities

• Must be able to work up to 6 days a week, with various schedule times.
• Observe all safety precautions and rules specified by federal, state, and Company regulations.
• Wear all PPE (Approved hard hat, vest, safety glasses Z87 approved, Gloves for approved job task, Long Pants, Short/Long Sleeved Shirt, Safety Toed Boots (8" lace up preferred).
• Understanding of environment/surroundings for key purpose of proper use and requirements of PPE (E.G. Ear Plugs, Rubber Gloves around corrosive materials).
• Coordinates with skilled tradesman and/or assigned supervisor(s) for the purpose of completing projects and work orders Safe and Efficiently.
• Employee must fill out all required paperwork.
