Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a diligent Janitor to maintain cleanliness across assigned areas, including offices, bathrooms, break rooms, and docks.

The role requires basic reading, writing and math, and teamwork. A High School diploma or GED and at least 1 year janitorial experience is preferred. Work is performed on site with adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• High School Education and/or GED.
• Minimum of 1 year janitorial experience preferred.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Ability to work effectively with others.

Responsibilities

• Maintains clean appearance to all assigned areas including Laundry, offices, bathrooms, patio, storage rooms, break rooms, docks and other areas.
• Performs daily cleaning procedures inside and outside per schedule.
• Cleans delivery trailers per schedule.
• Responsible for prudent utilization and storage of janitorial supplies.
• Cleans floors per procedure.
• Cleans windows, blinds, doors and walls per procedure.
• Empties trash in all areas.
• Maintains awareness and complies with safety, quality assurance and personnel policies.
• May assist in other positions.
• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with all contacts.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
