Job summary

Darling Ingredients in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Utility Yard Worker responsible for maintenance and keeping grounds clean and well-groomed around the facility.

Responsibilities include painting equipment and buildings for preventive maintenance; maintaining area around dumpsters; cleaning interior of plant; following safety rules; and other duties as assigned. Minimum qualifications include being at least 18 years old; preferred manufacturing/industrial experience and teamwork; reliability.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Manufacturing, industrial, or agricultural experience preferred.
• Prior maintenance/janitorial experience preferred.
• Work well with others in a team environment.
• Dependable; reliable.

Responsibilities

• Paints equipment and buildings for preventive maintenance.
• Maintains clean area around dumpsters; picks up trash; dumps and cleans trash barrels.
• Cleans interior of plant including showers, restrooms, and breakroom.
• Responsible for familiarity and observation of all company safety rules and regulations.
• All other duties as assigned.
