Smurfit Westrock in Hicksville, NY is seeking a General Manager to lead the full site operations, drive growth, and align commercial priorities with manufacturing execution. You will own P&L, safety, quality, service, productivity, and employee engagement.

You will build a high‑performing team, set clear expectations, and partner with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Quality, and HR to deliver on KPIs and capital projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical or management discipline.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in operations and manufacturing management.
• Minimum 5-7 years’ printing experience.
• Superior communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Owns overall site performance and drives business growth by aligning commercial priorities, customer expectations, and operational execution.
• Develops and executes operating plans that support revenue growth, margin expansion, EBITDA, cost discipline, and customer service goals.
• Leads business reviews using KPIs to evaluate performance and drive corrective action across safety, quality, service, productivity, cost, labor, and financial results.
• Builds and leads a capable operations leadership team with accountability and talent development.
• Sets clear expectations and measurable performance objectives tied to site KPIs and business priorities.
