Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America is hiring for a manufacturing support role at our Edmore, MI facility. You will work as part of a team to increase productivity and reduce downtime, assisting all plant-floor tasks while adhering to safety rules.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment per 5S standards, following lock-out tag-out procedures, and performing other duties as assigned. Must be able to lift 30 lbs and work overtime and weekends. PCA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Be committed to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends.
• Must be willing to work first and second shift.
• Good attendance is essential.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. must be confirmed.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to increase productivity and reduce downtime and waste.
• Assist all plant floor jobs as needed.
• Follow all safety rules and lock-out tag-out procedures.
• Maintain shop and equipment per 5S standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
• May stack parts up to 30 lbs for up to 12 hours.
