Andritz AG in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a Plant Engineering Lead to guide the Project Engineering and Structural Engineering teams. You will oversee process, mechanical and structural engineering support for air pollution control systems including baghouse filters, CD scrubbers, and related equipment sizing.

Reporting to the Director of Engineering, you will mentor engineers, manage workloads, and develop performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering is required.
• 5+ years of related engineering experience.
• Experience leading a team of engineers is required.
• Experience using CAD platforms and SAP software.

Responsabilités

• Manage the engineering workload among the team members.
• Supervise the preparation of mass and energy balances, P&ID diagrams, heat transfer calculations, and sizing.
• Review equipment specifications and vendor bids for compliance with project requirements.
• Assign plant engineering resources to projects.
• Drive continuous improvement with procedures and system changes while ensuring quality and safety.
