Job summary

Harris Health seeks an experienced Engineering Manager to oversee maintenance and facilities across our hospital network. The role directs the Engineering Department, planning and supervising HVAC, electrical, fire alarm systems, and grounds to ensure safe, compliant operations.

You will manage multiple sites, oversee labor/material controls, train staff on safety, and uphold Life Safety Code and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in engineering/management/business or related field required.
• Five plus years hospital or related work experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Life Safety Code and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct and supervise Engineering Department/Service activities to maintain hospital facilities and systems.
• Manage multiple site operations; administer labor and material controls.
• Train maintenance personnel on safety and ensure effective management practices.
• Maintain effective communication across all organizational levels and ensure regulatory compliance.
