Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Plant Engineering and Facilities Manager to join our team. This role is crucial for continuous improvement in manufacturing operations, ensuring facilities operate efficiently and safely. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of plant engineering, maintenance, and facilities operations.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the plant engineering team to maintain and improve manufacturing processes, equipment, and facilities.
  2. Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
  3. Oversee all plant and facilities projects, including renovations, expansions, and equipment installations.
  4. Ensure compliance with all regulations related to plant operations and facilities.
  5. Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement process improvements, cost reductions, and productivity enhancements.
  6. Manage the energy management program to reduce consumption and costs.
  7. Develop and oversee the capital budget for plant and facilities projects.
  8. Evaluate new technologies and equipment to improve efficiency and quality.
  9. Maintain a safe, clean, and environmentally compliant plant environment.
  10. Manage vendor relationships, including contracts, performance, and issue resolution.
  11. Provide technical guidance and training to plant personnel.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in plant engineering and facilities management in manufacturing.
  • Proven success managing complex projects.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency with CAD software.
  • Knowledge of applicable regulations.
  • Certified Plant Engineer (CPE) or similar certification is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
