CalPortland is seeking a Plant Engineer to manage CAPEX projects and lead the Engineering department at the Oro Grande facility, CA. The role includes budgeting, designing, constructing, implementing, and commissioning projects, while directing a team of engineers and supervisors.

The Plant Engineer position will be responsible for fulfilling all duties in the Engineering department and duties as assigned, including, but not limited to budgeting, designing, constructing, implementing, and commissioning CAPEX projects, along with managing other members of the Oro Grande Engineering department.

$120,000 - $140,000 annually
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, such as Civil, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.
Cement, or related industry experience.
Successful candidate must submit to a post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. Some positions require FMCSA-regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
