Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical school or apprenticeship preferred.
• Industrial Electrician experience: 2+ years preferred.
• Must be self-motivated with sense of urgency and minimal supervision.
• Experience with electrical, pneumatics, and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain production machines and plant equipment.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs during production.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repairs.
• Read manuals and work orders to perform maintenance tasks.
• Diagnose problems, replace parts, test, and adjust.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machines and facilities.
• Use hand/power tools, meters, and material handling equipment.
• Report faults and unusual situations to supervision.
• Follow safety rules and keep work areas clean and orderly.
• Read blueprints for layout and precision measurements.
• Repair/replace components like belts, bearings, gears, shafts.
• Lubricate moving parts and align couplings and shafts.
• Troubleshoot PLC, NC/CNC controls; power distribution.
