Job summary

Air Liquide Advanced Materials is hiring a Plant Cost and Assets Control Analyst in Branchburg, NJ. You will analyze site costs and inventory, support cost optimization efforts, and coordinate with Finance, Operations Control, and site leadership to drive efficiency and accuracy.

Responsibilities include month-end close support, asset and spare-parts management, and asset investment reviews with SAP data. Occasional travel up to 60% across US sites is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Finance with cost analysis experience (2+ years) in manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s in Engineering with 2+ years of manufacturing finance analysis.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets and Google Slides.
• Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
• Experience partnering with site personnel to raise cost awareness.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience creating detailed reports and presenting findings.
• Commitment to data accuracy and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Costs and Inventory Analysis: review monthly costs, analyze trends, and maintain costs within budget.
• Support site cost optimization initiatives with Ops Control and site leaders.
• Ensure accurate valuation and counts of inventory and mobile assets.
• Provide monthly inventory, asset, and consumable spare-parts analyses.
• Explain deviations vs. expectations to Finance and Ops Control teams.
• Plan and rationalize mobile asset and fleet investments with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Develop robust processes to manage spare parts consumption.
• Assist with cost accounting for US sites, including standard costs and BOM/routing updates in SAP.
• Lead development of reporting metrics and carry out complex ad hoc analyses.
• Travel up to 60% to multiple ALAM US sites as required.
