Job summary
CFS is seeking a Plant Controller to own the financial close, budgeting, and cost analysis for our Wisconsin manufacturing site in Stoughton. You will lead a small team, ensure US GAAP compliance, and partner with operations to drive profitability.
You bring 4+ years in manufacturing accounting, a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance, and strong ERP experience to optimize processes and support ERP improvements. Base salary in the $115,000–$135,000 range plus bonus.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA/CPA/CMA a plus.
- Strong ERP system experience (large-scale preferred).
- A passion for numbers, strategy, and leading a high-performing team.
Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process to drive financial success.
- Establish SOPs aligned with US GAAP compliance.
- Coach, mentor, and develop a team of up to 1 direct report.
- Support inventory and cost analysis projects to optimize operations.
- Manage audit requests (interim and annual).
- Assist with ERP system improvements and implementations.
