Whitefish Search Partners is seeking a seasoned accounting professional for a key plant finance role in Lakeville, MN. The role focuses on accurate financial reporting, cost accounting, budgeting, and internal controls to drive plant profitability.

You will partner with the plant manager to analyze variances, improve manufacturing processes, and ensure GAAP compliance while supporting annual budgeting and forecasting cycles.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
• 6+ years of accounting experience.
• Cost accountant or manufacturing experience.

Responsabilidades

• Financial reporting: Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the plant.
• Cost accounting: Track production costs, analyze variances, and monitor inventory valuation.
• Budgeting and forecasting: Lead the annual budget process and develop regular financial forecasts.
• Internal controls: Ensure GAAP compliance and adherence to local regulations.
• Operational analysis: Partner with the plant manager to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and increase profitability.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 6+ years of accounting experience
