Job summary

Silgan Closures Hazleton, PA is seeking a Manufacturing Controller to lead plant accounting, cost accounting, and financial operations for the facility. You will partner with plant leadership to drive performance and profitability.

You will manage month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, BOMs, and variance analysis while maintaining strong internal controls and GAAP compliance. This role requires 5+ years in manufacturing finance and proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years manufacturing accounting/plant finance experience.
• Strong GAAP, inventory accounting and financial reporting.
• ERP system experience and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead plant accounting and cost accounting activities.
• Manage month-end close, financial reporting and reconciliations.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and annual operating plans.
• Maintain standard costs and BOMs.
• Analyze variances in labor, material, overhead and inventory.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and internal controls; audit readiness.
• Partner with operations leaders to improve plant performance.
• Supervise accounting and administrative functions.
