Job summary

Novipax in Rockingham, NC is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage financial health of production operations. You will lead general ledger, month-end close, cost tracking, and GAAP compliance in a manufacturing environment.

The role requires 3–5 years progressive accounting experience, proficiency with IQMS is a plus, and strong analytical, multitasking and teamwork skills. On-site role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, manufacturing environment preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting software; IQMS experience is a bonus.
• Understanding of U.S. GAAP as it applies to manufacturing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct variance analyses to explain deviations from budgets and forecasts.
• Execute month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Perform monthly reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
• Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs, including raw materials, labor, and overhead.
• Track inventory accuracy through reconciliation and cycle counts.
• Collaborate with production and operations teams to improve yield and efficiency, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Assist with audits (internal and external) and document preparation.
• Contribute to budgeting and financial forecasting.

Keyresponsibilities

• Assistwithinternalandexternalaudits,includingpreparingdocumentationandprovidingsupport.
• Assistwithtaxpreparationandcompliance(incometax,salestax,etc).
• Contributetothebudgetingprocess,assistinginthecreationofbudgetsandfinancialforecasts.

Experience:Minimumof3-5yearsofprogressiveaccountingexperience,withexperienceinamanufacturingenvironmentbeingpreferred.

TechnicalSkills:

• Proficiencyinaccountingsoftware,IQMSexperienceisabonus.
• UnderstandingofU.S.GAAPasitappliestoamanufacturingenvironment.
