Job summary

The Lindy Group, part of the PJ Dick-Trumbull-The Lindy Group family, seeks a detail-oriented Plant Accountant focused on billing to keep our concrete plants' accounts accurate and timely.

You will review tickets, prepare invoices, manage credit applications, and collaborate across teams while upholding policy and delivering reliable customer statements.

Qualifications

• A 4-year degree in business or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• 2+ years of administrative or accounting experience.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to coordinate across teams.
• Sharp research and communication skills.
• Sound judgment - interpret and apply company policy independently.

Responsibilities

• Set up new customer accounts and manage credit applications.
• Review daily concrete tickets and turn them into accurate invoices.
• Handle weekly external ticket review, including tax determination and invoicing.
• Keep an eye on customer credit limits and balances, flagging issues to leadership.
• Prepare customer statements.
• Investigate and resolve billing disputes with professionalism.
• Take on additional projects alongside the Plant Accounting Manager.

What You\'ll Do

As Plant Accountant, you\'ll be the go-to person for billing accuracy and customer account health across our concrete operations:

• Set up new customer accounts and manage credit applications
• Review daily concrete tickets and turn them into accurate invoices
• Handle weekly external ticket review, including tax determination and invoicing
• Keep an eye on customer credit limits and balances, flagging issues to leadership
• Prepare customer statements
