Job summary

EnerSys in Springfield, Missouri, seeks a Production Supervisor to oversee the daily operation of a designated production area, ensuring safe, efficient and quality output. You will schedule lines, assist in hiring and promotions, train staff, maintain workmanship and safety standards, and collaborate with teammates in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–4 years related experience in production.
• 1-year supervisory experience.
• Teamwork, communication and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are preferred.

• Oversee the daily scheduling of production lines using published production backlog.
• Assist in hiring decisions and the selection of department personnel for assignment of duties, promotion, transfer, and discharge, including evaluations and performance reviews.
• Maintain product quality using workmanship standards, assembly instructions, test procedures, and other applicable documentation.
• Conduct training of assigned personnel.
• Maintain safety of work area according to company safety requirements.

Job Purpose
