Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Plans & Operations Analyst to be the primary intelligence representative within cross-functional planning teams. You will draft and refine intelligence annexes for regional OPLANs, CONPLANs, and OPORDs, and maintain synchronization matrices to align collection with operational requirements.

Responsibilities include supporting the daily battle rhythm, coordinating crisis response activities, and scripting exercises to rigorously test intelligence architectures.

Qualifications

The Opportunity:

Serve as the primary intelligence representative in cross-functional planning teams. Draft, review, and refine intelligence-specific documentation, notably Annex B (Intelligence) and associated appendices for regional OPLANs, CONPLANs, and OPORDs.Develop and maintain Intelligence Synchronization Matrices to align intelligence collection, analysis, and dissemination with phased operational requirements and commander's decision points.Support the daily operational battle rhythm. Monitor ongoing operations, coordinate crisis response activities, and facilitate internal and external communication flows.Plan, script, and participate in joint and multinational exercises, ensuring intelligence architectures and processes are rigorously tested and refined.Facilitate continuous coordination between analytical branches, collection managers, targeting teams, and operations to ensure unified intelligence support to operations.

You Have:

• 5+ years of experience in military intelligence, intelligence operations, or joint planning
• Experience in the Joint Planning Process (JPP) or Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP)
• Experience drafting intelligence annexes and orders
• Knowledge of the Western Hemisphere AOR, including partner nation capabilities, regional threats, and theater campaign plans
• Ability to brief senior military leadership and coordinate across joint staff directorates
• TS/SCI clearance
• HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

• Knowledge of Annex B OPLANs and CONPLANs
• Ability to produce SITREPs
• Ability to brief and present material JPGs, OPTs, and senior leadership
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• Possession of excellent organizational and written and verbal communication skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
