Job summary

PTR Global is seeking a senior PKI-focused engineer to lead the design and implementation of PKI solutions, including TLS certificate management and automation. You will work onsite in Plano, TX, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive secure, scalable PKI services.

The role requires deep PKI expertise, experience with ADCS, EJBCA, HSMs, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Kubernetes), with a focus on security, performance, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience in software engineering with a focus on PKI and TLS certificates.
• Proven experience with ADCS, EJBCA, and HSMs (e.g., Safenet/Gemalto).
• Deep knowledge of infrastructure engineering areas such as deployment, automation, scaling, or performance assessments.
• Deep knowledge of cloud technologies and ability to operate in public and private clouds.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership in PKI design and TLS certificate management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate PKI services.
• Drive automation of PKI processes including issuance, renewal and revocation.
• Monitor and enhance PKI system performance, availability, and resilience.
