Technip Energies is seeking a Planning and Scheduling Engineer in the Houston area to define project objectives, develop execution-aligned schedules, and monitor status for home-office EPC activities and smaller engineering-services scopes.

The role emphasizes robust planning, progress tracking, and forecast reliability to support project execution and proposal efforts within a collaborative environment.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain schedules that are compliant with the selected project execution strategy.
• Define and optimize the resources required across Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation activities.
• Develop the project summary timeline and support definition of the Project Breakdown Structure.
• Establish and maintain planning and scheduling methods, procedures, time schedules, dashboards, and reporting requirements.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders to integrate relevant planning inputs and maintain schedule consistency.
• Update schedules, monitor project status, and control progress against the approved baseline and contractual milestones.
• Assess schedule performance, identify deviations from standards or plans, and propose corrective actions.
• Prepare reliable forecasts for completion dates, durations, and resource requirements.
• Increase project-team awareness of key milestones, main durations, interfaces, and critical paths.

Position Summary

The Planning and Scheduling Engineer defines project objectives in terms of duration and resources, develops and maintains an execution-aligned schedule, and monitors project status to support reliable forecasting. The role provides planning, monitoring, control, schedule analysis, and reporting support for projects and proposals, with a primary focus on home-office EPC activities and small engineering-services scopes.

Key Responsibilities

Planning and Schedule Development

• Develop and maintain schedules that are compliant with the selected project execution strategy.
• Define and optimize the resources required across Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation activities, as applicable.
• Develop the project summary timeline and support definition of the Project Breakdown Structure.
• Establish and maintain planning and scheduling methods, procedures, time schedules, physical-progress rules, dashboards, and reporting requirements.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders to integrate relevant planning inputs and maintain schedule consistency.

Monitoring, Control, and Forecasting
