Famous Supply, a wholesale distributor serving contractors and builders, seeks a Logistics Coordinator in Ohio to manage next-day routes and provide customer and driver support throughout the delivery process.

Responsibilities include route preplanning, reviewing orders, coordinating with sales, resolving delivery issues, and acting as a DC contact for parcel scheduling and special requests. The role emphasizes strong communication and teamwork within a family-oriented company culture.

Job description

The Logistics Coordinator plans next-day delivery routes and provide customer and driver support throughout the delivery process. The Logistics Coordinator also troubleshoots delivery errors and discrepancies, and provides support for the Famous Transportation and Warehouse Teams as needed.

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Delivery Route Preplanning
• Review customer order requirements, customer pickups and supplier pickups
• Scheduling delivery time-windows
• Coordinating delivery requests with sales associates
• Conflict resolution for any delivery errors or discrepancies
• Distribution Center Contact for:
• FedEx/UPS small parcel scheduling
• Special order requests
• General warehouse IT Support as needed
