Job summary

Atom Computing, Inc. is seeking a Planning & Configuration Control Manager in Boulder, CO to own manufacturing schedules and configuration records for neutral-atom quantum computers. You will shape how builds are planned, tracked, and validated across prototypes and repeat runs.

The role emphasizes cross-functional leadership across Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and PMO, with a focus on material readiness, SI&T, and change control for complex hardware.

Responsibilities

• Lead build planning, configuration control, and manufacturing data management; establish ownership of schedules, work packages, and release records.
• Maintain resource-loaded plans for material readiness, subsystem builds, SI&T, and verification phase.
• Coordinate personnel, shared tools, benches, and rooms; resolve conflicts with managers.
• Translate milestones into material need dates, releases, gates, and handoffs; report critical-path changes.
• Control BOMs, work instructions, test procedures, revisions, and changes with Eng and Manufacturing.
• Maintain traceability between installed hardware, serials, firmware/software versions, and build/test evidence.
• Establish repository and approval workflows; verify as-built and as-tested records at handoffs.
• Align planning, configuration, and NetSuite records with consistent identifiers; coordinate dependencies with PMO Manufacturing TPM.
