Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor construction schedules.
• Work Order Processing and execution of active and future workload requirements.
• Control work orders/packages (plan ERs, MEPs, NCR, fixtures, consumables material, production material).
• Assist Operation Supervisors in prioritizing shop/work cell capacity.
• Collect and report status of job progress.
• Report close-out/completion of jobs.
• Maintain electronic work package status.
• Perform tactical problem solving.
• Collaborate with Planning and Operations.
• Support construction schedule with Detail Planning/Planning.
• Coordinate with EB warehousing to issue material.
• Interact with WPPD's group for discrepancies as required.
• Incorporate problem resolutions into work instructions.

This position is located at the Steel Fab Facility in Florence, S.C.

Electric Boat - Florence is seeking individuals who are ready to work in a fast paced production environment, performing various planning and production control functions in support of D879 and D779 operations departments.

• Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management Preferred
• Military/Navy experience
• Familiarity with construction sequencing, packaging, outfitting of sub-assemblies, ship readiness and major units of manufacturing work
• Previous EB experience or similar manufacturing operations/planning experience
• A working knowledge of Material Requirements Planning principles and systems awareness of EWP/PCM/ APICS involvement is a plus
• Knowledge of various ERP software systems
