Job summary

Venture Global LNG seeks a Planner, Planning and Scheduling to develop and maintain schedules for capital projects. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 8+ years of relevant planning & scheduling and project controls experience in major Oil & Gas engineering and construction projects.
• Expert proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6.
• Knowledge and application of Best Scheduling Practices.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Experience with Power BI preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, with strong critical thinking and attention to detail.
• Strong work ethic with ability to effectively prioritize, meet deadlines, adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to efficiently summarize and prioritize information.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of Contractor schedule development and maintenance.

• Set up and maintain reporting and dashboard templates for consistent and timely communication.
• Assuring integrity and accuracy of Contractor forecasting.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional disciplines to align schedules with plan objectives and targets.
• Participate in critical path and risk identification reviews.
• Present and effectively communicate plan & schedule information internally and externally.
• Develop and maintain graphical summary depictions of execution plan.
• Assist project leadership with analytical insight to support timely decision‑making.
• Employ forensic schedule analysis to support Time Impact or other commercial claims analysis.

Summary

The Planner is responsible for developing and maintaining the project schedules for our capital projects. This new position will be based at our Plaquemines LNG Facility and report to the Director, Planning & Scheduling. This position will collaborate with Company leadership and project management to develop detailed project schedules that align to project execution plans and Company objectives. The role will also require effective communication to Project Management for timely decision making and incorporation of stakeholder input. The role will be based at our facility in the New Orleans, LA area, with potential for travel to other project locations and contractor offices.
