The City of Plant City, FL, is seeking a professional planner to perform moderate planning duties in support of long-range city plans and zoning/subdivision administration. The role includes research, staff reports, and site inspections as needed.

Professional position that performs moderate level planning work on planning projects in support of the City’s long-range plans and administration of the City’s zoning and subdivision regulations. This includes carrying out research for planning projects, conducting independent studies, preparing and presenting staff reports, performing final-review site inspections and other development review tasks as needed.

An equivalent combination of related education, training and expertise that would reasonably be expected to provide the knowledge, skills and abilities noted above, to be approved at the City Manager’s discretion.
Valid Florida driver’s license and be insurable by the City’s auto insurance carrier.
