Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a Planned Giving Resources Manager in the Atlanta, Georgia region to lead administration and project management of planned giving resources. This role involves coordinating with donors, professional advisors, and external partners to support gift planning across divisions and to train staff on procedures.

An ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in a related field, five years of nonprofit experience (planned giving preferred) and supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Legal, Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field with five years of nonprofit experience.
• Experience in Planned Giving preferred and one year of supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of project management processes and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage and participate in administration and project management of planned giving resources.
• Provide guidance and approve reports and leadership reporting for territorial functions.
• Supervise the Planned Giving Coordinator and ensure duties are completed.
• Serve as liaison with donors, advisors, and external entities for gift matters.
• Lead marketing efforts to increase gift planning leads across divisions.
• Develop and deliver staff training on gift proposals, processing, and policies.
• Ensure compliance with Salvation Army policies and regulations.
