Venturi Astrolab, Inc. (Astrolab) is seeking a meticulous Build Reliability Manager in Hawthorne, CA to lead a team ensuring top quality and reliability from components to final assembly.

You will work with design, production, and QA to improve manufacturing processes and documentation, with a focus on DFx, inspection, and problem resolution. The role demands proven leadership in manufacturing quality, strong analytical skills, and experience applying Six Sigma/Lean methods in complex production

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM field.
• 3+ years of experience in quality assurance, build reliability, design engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related engineering/quality function.

Responsabilités

• Lead build out of build reliability team.
• Drive process improvement across design, inventory, manufacturing, integration, and test.
• Define and document inspection requirements and procedures.
• Create training for production and inspection processes.
• Plan, test, and train to ensure quality at increasing production volumes.
• Contain non-conforming hardware and drive corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with design to improve DFM and align requirements with production rate.
